Gallery.
The life drawing class at The 491 Gallery has been running for a number
of years and has attracted many artists from the local area and from
all over London and beyond. The gallery’s bohemian atmosphere
has been a constant source of inspiration to the life drawing group
and countless interesting and satisfying drawings have been produced
at the class.
The class continues to provide a valuable development
resource for artists, and runs fortnightly on a donations basis. We
aim to provide a good variety of models and tuition and guidance is
offered. The class is suitable for beginners and seasoned artists alike.
Some materials and paper is provided, but it is recommended you bring
a sketchbook, partly so it is easier for you to look back at your drawings
and track your progress!
